JORDAN BURNDRED RIP
Updated: Apr 9
Tragic news from Turkey.
The NPL Football Academy has received the extremely sad news that our Leek Town student Jordan Burndred has lost his fight for life.
Jordan, 17, passed away last night in the Turkish hospital where he had been treated since suffering a cardiac arrest 10 days ago whilst on holiday.
Everyone at the NPLFA sends their deepest sympathies and condolences to Jordan’s family and friends at this tragic time.
On Sunday evening, NPL Football Academy student Jordan Burndred suffered a cardiac arrest whilst on holiday with his family in Turkey.
The Leek Town Academy defender, who just started his second year on the programme is currently in a critical condition after multiple cardiac arrests and at just 17 years of age it has shocked everyone who knows Jordan.
An appeal fund has been set up – https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/d132Cf – to help to pay for his family to stay in Turkey with him through this extremely difficult time.
If you could help and give as little or as much as possible it would be greatly appreciated by everyone.
All our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan and his family and friends and we pray he pulls through.
Rest in peace Jordan.
